Report on first clinical trial that showed reduction in epigenetic age via lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and relaxation.

This is the first randomized, controled clinical trial which showed the reversal of epigenetic age through changes in lifesytle, including diet, exercise, relaxation and sleep.
At the end of the trial the treatment participants were 1.96 years younger than at the begining and 3.23 years younger than the control group. This is a first and a very exciting development.

  1. Why did the participants in the control group aged so much in eight weeks? I actually find this clinical trial a bit puzzling and cast doubt on the veracity of the results given by the Horwarth clock

  2. Very interesting, thank you. I guess nowadays, rather than feeding yourself, it's important to feed your microbiome as well. I just checked my probiotic has the same ingredient using in the trial:-)
